To add a question, select a type from the dropdown menu at the very top of the page. It will then be added to the list at the bottom of the page.
Whenever a question is added to the quiz, a new entry will be created to the list. While some entries will differ depending on the question type, all will have the following:
This is the text field where the question is typed.
Clicking the image icon next to the text field will open the Image Browser and allow you to insert an image within the text.
These are the text fields where choices (i.e. possible answers) are typed.
Each row corresponds to a single choice. Users select which choices are correct by using the checkboxes to the left of each choice. Clicking the image icon next to the text field will open the Image Browser and allow you to insert an image within the text.
Depending on the question type, you may also have additional fields on the right of each choice.
Single choice and Multiple choice questions will also have an option to randomize distractor order (in other words, randomize the order of the choices) when the course is played. If left unchecked, choices will always appear in the order displayed in the editor.
These are extra options, mainly to do with feedback and miscellaneous settings. They are displayed for every question type, though not all will work on all question types.
To remove a question, click on the small grey ‘x’ button next to the question number and it will immediately be deleted:
To move a question to a different pool, click on the small grey Truck icon next to the question number.
A popup will appear:
Type in the number of the pool you want the question to be moved to, then click OK. The question will be transferred to the specified pool.
Like with the Content tab, any changes to the Quiz area or questions within it will need to be saved by clicking the dark blue Save button in the top right of this area.
