This tab is where editing for Quiz and Test content takes place - it's used to edit their functionality and text notifications, as well as to manage a quiz's question list where entries can be added, removed and edited.

The quiz questions are displayed after these options in a list, or ‘pool’:
By default, quizzes and tests have only one pool, but you can create additional Question Pools by clicking the + button to the far right. Likewise, you can remove them by clicking the x button to the right of the pool tab label. Switch between pools by clicking said tab labels.
If you delete a Question Pool with questions inside it, the questions will be transferred over to the previous pool (pools are in order from left to right).
Each pool also has its own settings available for adjustment - Deliver from Pool, and Question Order.
The Deliver from Pool setting lets you choose to use only a limited number of questions in the quiz (or all questions if set to 0, by default).
The Question Order setting allows you to choose whether the questions within a pool are randomly scrambled when the course is played, or kept in the order they appear in the editor.
If both the Deliver from Pool and random Question Order settings are used, you can potentially have a quiz that varies drastically from attempt to attempt - particularly if a smaller Deliver number and larger question pools are used.
