From here, we can edit the following:

  • Title: the name of the page that will appear in the navigation and the left hand menu when the course is played.
  • FileName: the name of the page file (either .html or .txt) in the course directory.
  • Type: the type of page:
    • Information: the default page type; allows you to enter your own content.
    • Quiz: turns the page into a Quiz entity (correct / incorrect answers will be shown immediately after answering questions). Will enable the Quiz tab and disable the Content tab.
    • Test (multi attempt): turns the page into a Test entity (correct / incorrect answers will be shown only when graded at the end of the quiz). Will enable the Quiz tab and disable the Content tab.
    • Completion page: Marks the end of a course.
  • Contribute:
    • None: the page does not contribute anything to the course score.
    • Must visit: the user must visit this page for the course to count as completed.
    • Must complete: the user must complete this page for the course to count as completed.
    • Must pass: the user must pass this page for the course to count as completed.
  • ContributeScore: the percentage of how much a user must get the page or quiz correct before it will count as a pass.
  • ContributePercentage: the percentage of how much the page score contributes to the overall course score.
  • Nav:
    • None: the page has no navigation restrictions set to it.
    • Must visit: the user must visit this page before they can navigate further into the course.
    • Must complete: the user must complete this page before they can navigate further into the course.
    • Must pass: the user must pass this page before they can navigate further into the course.
  • Template: This displays the Grid setting of a page. If no Grid setting is applied, this will be blank.
NOTES:
  • You will not be able to rename a page file until it has been saved in the Content tab.
  • Contribute settings and Quiz / Test results can work independently, so make sure any quizzes / tests that are essential to completion are marked as Must pass. If a quiz is marked Must visit, users won’t need to attempt it (only visit the page) and if it is marked Must complete, it counts as completed even if all the answers are wrong!
  • A page’s Contribute status is also indicated by a change of colour on the page label in the left hand Navigation panel.
