Load but do not parse external file

This element is used to load external resources (such as HMTL pages, Javascript files, CSS files, etc) to the current page. These items will not display when the course is played, but will run as background data for other operations instead.

Place the cursor where you want the code to appear in the content field and select the element from the right-hand list. The File Browser will appear.

Select the file you want to load, then click Done. The code will be placed in the content field.

Load but do not parse external file code appears like this:

{load filename.css}
NOTES:
  • Since the element is not visible, it normally does not matter where the code is located, but somewhere out of the way (such as the bottom of the page) is recommended.
  • Currently CSS files do not show up in the File Browser, though they will be added to the course when dragged and dropped onto it. You can still link them by typing the code and filenames manually, and you can still view and/or delete them from the Manage Media window.
